We recently enjoyed the best team-building night yet: Learning how to screen print while sampling a few batches of Kris’ home-brewed beers. Everyone got to pick the color hoodie they wanted to print on, and the design (only 1 color, but 100% inside jokes) was created by one of the tireless graphic designers (*cough* me). Cheers to Redux Contemporary Art Center for letting us take over the print shop, and to Kris the Brewmeister!

On the first of October, Lindsay and I attended the invitation-only premiere of “The Social Network” to represent DLO – and here’s a quickie video to prove it. There were flashin’ lights, champagne and red carpets. Thanks to Levelwing for hosting and treating us like stars! DLO was one of a handful of local sponsors for the event, and had the best give-away of the night (with the exception of the raffle for a free flight for you and your friends on a private jet)…
When someone’s uncle lets you borrow a couple of Segways for the weekend, you say THANK YOU… Then, you grill out and terrorize the neighborhood at 15mph.
Every other Thursday is a treat: Collecting trash and putting it on the street with a dolly that sometimes will collapse on you – which happens to make riding on it even more exhilarating. Charleston County finally started picking up cardboard last month, so it’s a team effort here at DLO to get it all to the curb…
We went for it – the first DLO kickball team! We brought our game every Wednesday, keeping our heads held high as our losing streak turned into a losing season. Next year we’ll try harder… at bringing a better selection of beers to the games.
